Nahahi Ridge

The snow in the alpine has finally started to melt and transition season seems to be coming to a close.  It's perfect timing for Quinn as he's pretty into sleeping in a carrier these days and still not too heavy.  We had a great day out with the Green's...  Although Ethan is fond of being carried, Jay's back may say otherwise.

Hanging with mom after lunch.

Heady's brave to keep her mouth open, drool is soon to follow.

3+1 Greens

So nice to be back.  The views were pretty amazing for a short hike up.

A look back down the elbow valley.

Too bad the little man slept through the best parts...

Almost feels like summer.  No guarantees it won't snow next week.

Great way to finish and sooth the feet!

The bumbo...

Quinn is loving the new bumbo and his independence! As usual, more pics on picassa.

Doesn't seem interested in the beer...

Laughing when we put him in the chair!

First attempt

He puts everything in his mouth now.

Looking intelligent?

Quinn 2.0

Now that Quinn is 3 months, it seems that he is much more alert and interactive! We are having a blast getting to know his personality! There are more pics on the picassa site as well.

He LOVES bathtime!

Mother's Day

We took a few photos of Heady and Quinn on their first Mother's Day together. I don't think he totally understands the concept, but was pretty happy about all the attention!

Mighty Man vs Modest Mountain

Quinn had his first mountain experience yesterday. His stamina isn't quite there yet, but it was a valiant first try. Despite his overall sleepiness, he was pretty stoked!

The position and size has changed a bit, but he still likes to travel on Heady.

His bear suit seemed like fitting attire.

Not so steady on the feet yet.

Token family shot.

Jay had the heaviest load by far.

People did quite get it when we told them that we were hiking with 3 babies...

Post hike snack.

Gotta love this kid!

We're having a great time with the little guy these days. I was so glad to have Heady and Quinn back home after a week away. There's a new picasa album with photos from the week.

New Faces

The little guy has learned some new looks in the past little while.  Not to mention that he's packing on the pounds!  We had an amazing time back in Ontario; there's a bunch of new photos on Picasa.  Check them out...

Haig with a view

After two separate failed attempt at the view on the Haig last year, thought we should try again. Jo promised that I wasn't going to be sore after the long tour... she lied.

Karl making his way up the French.

Jo in hot pursuit.

Karl and I had our doubts about the visibilty on the Haig, Jo was a little more optimistic.

Boot packing up the col to the Robertson.

We should have listened to Jo, the view was spectacular!

Pretty alright turns for April on the way down.

They just finished kissing.

Man Day 09

We don't completely understand what the day entails, but it was decided that a random day in March shall become Man Day. Quinn hung out with all the ladies at his baby shower and the men got a chance to be men. Janny, Manks, Karl and myself were treated to a less than average day of skiing but some great man time. We think that this will now become a quarterly holiday.

Karl just farted. It stank of man.

Rocks, ice and snow = manly.

Manversation: Big rock eh... yup, sure is... sweet.

We love Man Day!

Quinn is smiling!

Marine Biology 101.

We're pretty sure that it's not just gas...

We think that he's going to be quite the charmer.
