Honeymoon - Part 2

We also had the chance to do a little exploring around the resort and a trip to Grenada and Lake Nicaragua. This is the coast line just past the beach. Apparantly the surf is great along the coast.

This was taken on a hike in the rainforest just south of Lake Nicaragua. It was a little rainy (as expected) and had that fantastic damp forest smell (some might call it organic...)

A spider monkey and her baby. Obviously acustom to humans as it jumped into our boat and stole my snacks! Stupid monkey.

Sunset after too much wine, I mean, an artsy sunset.

A volcano across Lake Nicagarua.

Heady and I on the beach.

On a horse back ride, the tide came up a little higher than expected. I used my expert kayak skills to rescue my bride.

Best pool ever!

We will definitely miss this place...

Turbine Canyon

Grant, Heather x2 and I spent a fantastic couple of days up in Turbine Canyon. The weather was perfect and, despite the long slog, we had quite a relaxing weekend.

Not a bad morning to start a hike...

Heather x2 (twice the fun & trouble)

On our way to Lawson lake, almost at the camp ground. Surprise, surprise, both Heathers swam.

Still hiking...

Our first night in our new tent. Thanks Kim and Gail.

Pretty great place to spend the night.

The colours were insane at Maude Lake. This little gem was just above the campsite.

Red and yellow and green and blue...
