Oh ya, vacation...

Back on the blog - the hiatus is over.  Thought I'd share some photos of a long awaited and well deserved ski trip sans Quinn with some great friends.  Thanks to everyone for the great time.

Our home for the week - Powder Creek Lodge.  Pretty swanky!

Felt pretty great to be back on skis.  We definitely missed Q but knew he was in great hands with grandma and grandpa.

The terrain around the lodge was pretty impressive.  The snow really stabilized during the week and we were able to spend the majority of time in the alpine.

Nice to see Petes back in fine form.  This was a "don't tell me what I can't do" moment...

Making our way across one of the many ridge tops above the lodge.

These were the intimidating north facing slopes across the valley.  Good thing we had our guides Joel and Chev along - made life much more enjoyable.

The lodge is somewhere back on the other side of the valley.  Skiable terrain seemed endless.

Evidence of the most recent avy cycle that tore through the valley - the crown was almost a metre!

Lenz reaching the summit of Mistletoe - the objective for the day.

Linds along the summit ridge.  Check the trucker cap on Manks - the mine is rubbing off...

Not blower pow but Heady seemed ok with the view.

Sweet styles.

Nice spot for lunch on a sheltered lake in the sunshine.

PG rated shot of the sauna - I left the one of Manks' ass off the blog.  They even had a shower!

Token starry night in the Selkirks.

Can't beat spring skiing.  Long days, cold beers and 17 degree temps.

Packed and ready for the chopper.  Looking forward to coming back soon.  Thanks for the good times!
